Terms & Conditions

A clear understanding of your account, content, publishing responsibilities and use of SocialGennie.

Last updated: 11 September 2026 · DigitalBitHub

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of SocialGennie, a product by DigitalBitHub (“we”, “us” or “our”). SocialGennie helps you plan, generate, review and publish content for connected Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Read these terms with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. A separately agreed written order may set additional commercial terms for a paid service; mandatory legal protections continue to apply.

2. Your account and authority

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement. If acting for a business or client, you must have authority to manage its projects, upload its assets and connect or publish to its accounts.

Provide accurate account information, secure your WhatsApp number and social accounts, and do not share OTPs or access tokens. Report suspected misuse. You are responsible for actions you authorise through your account, subject to our responsibilities under applicable law.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain any rights you hold in uploaded photographs, logos, text and other materials. You grant DigitalBitHub the limited permission needed to host, copy, process, resize, transmit and display them to provide requested features, including processing by configured providers and publishing to selected channels. This is not general permission to use your material in our marketing.

You must have the necessary copyright, trademark, privacy and other permissions. Do not upload unauthorised confidential information or impersonate another person or business.

Generated content may be used subject to applicable law, third-party rights and applicable provider terms. AI outputs may resemble other outputs and are not guaranteed to be unique, copyright-protectable or free from third-party claims.

4. AI output and your review

AI-generated ideas, text and visuals can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Check facts, prices, claims, spelling, imagery, product details, rights and platform requirements before approving or publishing. Automated quality and uniqueness checks support your review; they do not replace it.

In the original-product-photo workflow, SocialGennie preserves the uploaded photo’s contents and proportions while fitting it into a new composition. Other parts of the creative are generated and the finished layout still needs review. Generated material is not professional legal, medical or financial advice.

We do not promise particular follower counts, views, leads, sales or other social results. Trend research and insights depend on information available from external sources and platforms.

5. Publishing and automation

You choose eligible accounts to connect and actions to authorise. Keep the necessary permissions active and review approval, scheduling and automation settings. Enabling an automated action authorises it within those settings.

Meta controls account eligibility, API access, media acceptance and platform availability. Publishing can fail or be delayed by permissions, token expiry, media access, rate limits, outages or platform changes. Check status before retrying. Sharing on Facebook and Instagram creates separate platform posts with separate engagement records.

Stopping an automation or disconnecting a channel does not undo published content or necessarily cancel an action already sent to a platform. Check published content and use the platform’s controls where necessary.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use SocialGennie for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deceptive activity, infringing content, unauthorised access, malware, spam, harassment or attempts to bypass security and usage limits. Do not misrepresent AI-generated material in ways that violate law or platform rules.

We may investigate misuse, restrict features or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with legal requirements or address a material breach. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the reason and available next steps.

7. Paid services and cancellation

Any paid plan, credit package or separately agreed service must state its price, applicable taxes, scope, usage limits and payment terms before purchase. Recurring charges require disclosure of renewal and cancellation terms. Creating an account does not by itself authorise a charge.

Generation-cost estimates in a project describe recorded provider usage; they are not a customer invoice or final bill. Provider usage may be incurred even when a request fails or times out. Customer charges must follow the commercial terms agreed for the purchase.

Cancellation and refunds follow the agreed purchase terms and our Refund Policy, without limiting mandatory legal rights. Contact us for help identifying or cancelling a paid arrangement.

8. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the service functional but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free AI output or continued access to every third-party feature. Keep copies of important assets and approved content. Features may change for operational, security or legal reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or lost profits arising from service use, or matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing excludes responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. We remain responsible for our applicable legal and contractual obligations.

9. Ending use and resolving concerns

You may stop using SocialGennie, disconnect channels and request account deletion through our contact page. Stopping use does not automatically cancel a separately agreed paid arrangement; include that request when contacting us. The Privacy Policy describes retention and deletion.

Contact DigitalBitHub so we can investigate service, billing or account concerns. This does not prevent remedies from a regulator, consumer forum or court with jurisdiction. These terms do not impose an exclusive venue or remove mandatory protections.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves and identify revisions by date. Material changes affecting a paid arrangement will be communicated as required by law or the agreed contract. New terms will not remove accrued rights or retroactively change a completed purchase.
